Meet Russell Claver-Obinna
Russell Chidinma Claver-Obinna LCPC, LPC, MS
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (MD)
Licensed Professional Counselor (CT)
Russell Claver-Obinna is passionate about helping people reclaim who they once were and who they aspire to become. He uses a holistic approach to enhance an individual’s overall wellbeing. He believes that by strengthening the different aspects of an individual, such as the mental, physical, and spiritual, they can improve their self-awareness to resolve their challenges and become the best versions of themselves.
Russell believes we are all equipped with the tools to our success and wellbeing. However, finding and selecting the appropriate tools to our daily problems may be challenging. As a result, this may leave individuals feeling consumed by their negative emotions and thoughts resulting with feeling trapped, overwhelmed, and emotionally distressed. It is Russell’s passion to help alleviate the negative emotions and thoughts, in a collaborative effort, to gain an improved quality of life.
Russell understands that the more we learn about ourselves the better we can respond to the challenges we face. Often, we tend to respond to our challenges in ways that may be problematic. However, once we learn to manage our emotions and the interaction between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, we can begin to develop and strengthen healthier thinking patterns resulting in positive outcomes.
