Prepare/Enrich premarital/marital assessment: to provide couples who are married, considering marriage or in a committed relationship, an evidence based assessment and skills to maintain a successful relationship.
Couples Therapy: to help couples, married or unmarried, strengthen their friendship, improve communication, repair from past hurts, reduce conflict, more effectively compromise, resolve sex and intimacy issues, and build a stronger foundation.
Family Therapy: to improve communication and help family members better understand and empathize with one another.
Individual Therapy: focused on helping individuals cope with diagnosable mental health conditions such as, anxiety, depression, or ADHD, in addition to everyday concerns, such as relationship problems and ending negative cycles, stress management, career ambitions, developing a better understanding of the self and one’s patterns, or other issues that may affect mental well-being.
Sex Therapy: focused on addressing sexual dysfunctions such as premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, low libido, sexual fetishes, out of control sexual behavior, lack of sexual confidence, sexual trauma and other concerns that affect an individual or couple’s sexual health. Sex therapists do not engage in sexual contact with their clients.
Sex Education: focused on providing individuals, couples, and adolescents the skills necessary to develop healthy sexual patterns. Sex education not only focused on the physiological and anatomical aspects of sexual behavior, it also focused on how to be a responsive and attuned sexual partner, and on how to better express needs and wants in a sexual relationship while also helping to expand emotional intimacy.
Supervision Services: Dr. Ricaurte offers supervision to clinicians in the process of completing their hours towards licensure. She is also an AASECT Certified Sex Therapy Supervisor.
Hypnosis: Taylor Sherman and Dr. Melanie Ricaurte offer hypnosis to help individuals break through the barriers that get in the way of them achieving their life, relationship, career, fitness or wellness goals.
Connecting Mindfully Group: This group focuses on remaining centered and authentic in an increasingly divided and intense society. The group setting will allow each member to share experiences in a non-judgmental setting and to explore the patterns that may be underlying their emotions. The group will have a long term focus and will evolve based on member feedback. The group is highly inclusive, and adults of all backgrounds and demographics are welcome to attend.
