Lula Madrigal has been an avid student of various integrative healing traditions for over 20 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies and has studied various disciplines of holistic therapies, meditation and yoga traditions. Her certifica-tions includeYoga para el Alma (Yoga of the Soul – Costa Rica), Reiki, Thai Massage and is currently studying Ayurvedic Medi-cine. Her past transformative work and mental health background fused with acupuncture when she began her own healing pro-cess. In this transformation, she found the simplicity and deep healing that acupuncture offers; which is what led her to become an Acupuncturist.
She received her Master’s in Acupuncture at Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly TAI SOPHIA), and recently com-pleted her Doctorate in Acupuncture. Her ability to connect with her patients and to find the root cause of their dis-ease is scientif-ically grounded in current Integrative Medicine research.
Lula practices a holistic approach to wellness that is uniquely weaved with the Traditions of Chinese medicine. Her focus is to create a partnership with her patients in their wellness goals, and to provide a safe space to explore their individual strengths as a foundation for their healing and well-being. Her past acupuncture experience includes working within a multidisciplinary wellness center, an Integrative Medicine Cancer Center, and interning in a pain management and fertility clinic. She treats adults, adoles-cents and children at Synergy Family Acupuncture within the Harmony Holistic clinic.
Armeta Dastyar believes that acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are the gateway to a peaceful, fulfilling life. She specializes in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and is an Usui Reiki Master.
Her exploration of eastern medicine started by seeking relief for her own ailments. Having years of ankle problems, she decided to turn to acupuncture for aid. It was through this that she not only found support for her ankle, but she also gained a feeling of being more awake and attuned to the world around her. This has sparked Armeta to bring this awakening to all her clients, providing them medicine to allow them to thrive in every aspect of their lives.
Her education began with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology. Armeta then studied eastern medicine by becoming a Usui Reiki Master. Later, she continued her educational journey and earned two Masters degrees and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Maryland University of Integrative Health, formerly Tai Sophia.
Armeta brings compassion to each and every client, treating each individual uniquely to reach his or her full potential. She uses energy work in combination with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to treat a wide variety of conditions including pain management, woman’s health, depression and anxiety. She helps women conceive naturally or in combination with reproductive technology.
Wherever you are in life, she will be there to support you and help you grow to your full potential.
