Below are the wonderful integrative practitioners that are sharing space with Harmony Holistic
Dana Scarton is a licensed acupuncturist whose main interest lies in helping her patients achieve their greatest potential in terms of physical, emotional and mental health. She employs acupuncture and, if applicable, dietary, meditative, and movement advice to help patients attain balance in mind and body, or homeostasis. Homeostasis is true balance; it is the state in which all humans function most effectively.
Acupuncture is a wonderful stand-alone or adjunct treatment for acute and chronic conditions, from migraines and depression to gynecological disorders. The medicine can also treat insomnia, digestive issues, sinus and nasal congestion, anxiety/stress, arthritis, fatigue, joint and muscle pain, and a host of other conditions.
Dana has studied the Balance Method, which provides a means to treat pain without needling into the painful region. She is certified in performing facial rejuvenation acupuncture and cupping. She holds a master’s degree in acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health.
Lula Madrigal has been an avid student of various integrative healing traditions for over 20 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies and has studied various disciplines of holistic therapies, meditation and yoga traditions. Her certifica-tions includeYoga para el Alma (Yoga of the Soul – Costa Rica), Reiki, Thai Massage and is currently studying Ayurvedic Medi-cine. Her past transformative work and mental health background fused with acupuncture when she began her own healing pro-cess. In this transformation, she found the simplicity and deep healing that acupuncture offers; which is what led her to become an Acupuncturist.
She received her Master’s in Acupuncture at Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly TAI SOPHIA), and recently com-pleted her Doctorate in Acupuncture. Her ability to connect with her patients and to find the root cause of their dis-ease is scientif-ically grounded in current Integrative Medicine research.
Lula practices a holistic approach to wellness that is uniquely weaved with the Traditions of Chinese medicine. Her focus is to create a partnership with her patients in their wellness goals, and to provide a safe space to explore their individual strengths as a foundation for their healing and well-being.
