Faith Ferber Trauma Informed Social Worker

Meet Faith Ferber

Faith Ferber, LMSW, MSW
Licensed Master Social Worker
Trauma-Informed Therapist

Faith Ferber (she/her) has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and live a happy and fulfilling life.  She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University with a certificate in Violence Against Women and Children and Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from American University.

She has several years of experience working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, as well as experience working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and substance abuse. She focuses on issues surrounding human sexuality.

Faith takes a strengths-based, affirming, and trauma-informed approach, recognizing the widespread impact oppression, discrimination, or violence of any kind can have on the well-being of individuals, partners, families, and the larger community. She believes that treating trauma requires a holistic approach because trauma resides both in our brain and in our body, and that a welcoming, non-judgmental approach is key to the therapeutic relationship.
