Meet Bria Burditt

Bria Burditt, MS, LGMFT
Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist

Bria Burditt has a deep admiration for those who embark on the journey to reflect and grow. She recognizes that life’s challenges can be overwhelming and is passionate about cultivating an atmosphere where clients can be vulnerable to share and explore the future. She utilizes an affirming, non-judgmental and curious approach to learn about the entirety of a person to create an action-oriented plan that empowers them to face the challenges ahead.

Techniques often include exploring existing narratives, modeling communication, mapping patterns, practicing mindfulness and utilizing trauma-informed care. Bria has had clinical experience with clients from 5 to 67 years old with a variety of presenting challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, panic, intergenerational trauma, childhood trauma, family expansion, parenting hurdles, school refusal, infidelity and intimate partner violence. She enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families along with adolescents, teens, adults, couples and other family units.

Along with her professional experience, Bria is a proud Howard University graduate and an alum from Capella University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. She feels dedicated to the local community and walking alongside those who are curious to see what could be next.
