Bennett Solberg, LCPC, NCC, ACC

Bennett Solberg brings a thoughtful and empathetic approach to therapy, guiding clients toward healing through a blend of traditional and alternative therapeutic methods. Specializing in treating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, and sex therapy, he works with individuals and couples to navigate a variety of challenges. As a sex therapist, Bennett has insight into and enjoys working with members of the polyamory and kink communities. His work integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy with holistic approaches, including biofeedback, hypnosis, and psychophysiology, ensuring personalized care that addresses both emotional and physiological aspects of well-being.

Bennett’s background is eclectic, having served as a U.S. Naval Officer, university dean, and federal government employee before transitioning fully into mental health care. His military service earned him numerous accolades, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation, and Army and Navy Achievement Medals. This experience shaped his leadership skills and commitment to helping others, qualities he carries into his counseling work today.

His dedication to service also extends to his philanthropic efforts. For over 20 years, he has supported refugees and disadvantaged communities, volunteering with social service organizations and serving on advisory boards for foundations focused on social justice and equity. Bennett is a Roman Catholic, and his commitment to inclusivity is at the heart of his work. He strives to create a supportive and welcoming environment for clients of all backgrounds and beliefs.

In addition to his mental health expertise, Bennett offers professional coaching as an ICF-certified coach, helping individuals overcome personal and professional challenges. His coaching and therapy services aim to empower clients to lead fulfilling, balanced lives.
